I’m sorry but I haven’t found any reliable source saying that Queen Victoria did have ferrets – albino or any other colour – and gave them to visiting dignitaries 🙁
I’m not sure where that story sprang from but a lot of ferret sites online seem keen to repost that story!

If you ever do find a reliable source confirming the fact that Queen Victoria actually did have albino ferrets, I would be eternally grateful if you could let me know so that I can update this page!!
