FYI – I’ve called the Cumberland Vet Hospital and the Blair Animal Hospital as we are planning and getting ferrets and both of them informed me that the do not treat ferrets at this time.

I updated that page in 2015 … I guess it might be an idea to check all the clinics to make sure they all treat ferrets again!

Wonderful to find your site! I live in Niagara Falls, Ontario. I wanted to add a ferret vet to your info page about ferrets vets worldwide..This one is an exotic vet and very good with ferrets. My fuzzy has been going to him and he has been great! He also vetted my last fuzzy years ago, even does house calls..and this vet answers his phone even after hours and on holidays, it forwards to him directly. It is called Carlton Animal Hospital, it is located in St. Catharines, Ontario..His son has now joined the team and is becoming an exotic vet as well…his wife runs the clinic..family business.

I put the month and year the page was updated at the bottom of the page. The Ontario vet page was last updated in May 2019.
Unfortunately it’s almost a full-time job to keep all the vet pages updated and being in my 70s, I just haven’t got the stamina to do that every day ?
