My one ferret chases the other ferret around and places her head across his neck all the time. She has been doing this for about 2 weeks now. They are rescue ferrets that we have had one year since June. They have booth been implanted after we got them. Which helped the boy a lot. We feed them Shepard’s Green and Wysong mix daily. And freeze dried chicken or salmon By Stella’s Chewy once a week with the Shepard’s Green / Wysong crumbs and powdered Duck Soup with probiotics about once a week. They also get organic flax seed oil with a drop of liquid melatonin. Guessing they are about 3 years old now.
I can not find anything on line about ferret behavior that would explain this. Thank you.

Well, I’m afraid I have no idea why your little girl is doing that to your boy! It has me absolutely stumped ?♀️
It might be an idea for you to find a ferret club or rescue close to where you live and ask them if there is anything to be concerned about.
