first time owner

I have yet to get my ferret, but after 5 p.m today I will have her!

I’m so excited even after reading all this info, which I thank the author for tremendously. She’s suppose to be a little less than a year old and comes with a hammock, no cage, so free runner I’m guessing which is how my husband “thinks” he is going to prefer to do it. I’m not so sure though as I know they are mischievious as all get out. LOL!

We just got a little boy today!
He’s 9 weeks old and cinnamon colored.
He’s a perfect playmate for her and they have already bonded, it’s adorable! ♥
Two are definitely better than one (:

That’s great news about Kaheena! I’m really glad you’re enjoying her and I hope you continue to do so in the future. Ferrets are such special little things but some of them can cause their owners heart attacks with their inquisitive nature! They’re into everything and if their owners’ home isn’t ferret proofed, then they could get into trouble.So glad you’ve joined us on the forum and don’t be shy about asking any questions you need to as we’re all there to help 🙂

We got her! and have had her for 1 week and 3 days now. She’s suppose to be 9 months old, not sure how old she is though.She’s definately a handful, and sometimes I wish she would just mind! Not litter box trained as they said she was and doesn’t ever like to stay in one spot and just cuddle with me, but on the bright side, she has a great personality, doesn’t bite hard when playing, isn’t a picky eater and has gave my husband and me many laughs already.

I don’t regret my decision, but I admit we both will have to do a lot of learning.

Hiya MeeksI hope you’ve picked up your new family member and would love to know how you’re finding life with a ferret?Is it everything you thought it’d be or do you regret the decision? I hope the former!

Ferrets are incredible little creatures and are so much fun and boy, do they ever get tangled up in their owners’ heartstrings! However they aren’t for everyone.

Hope you are finding out what great pets they make 😀
