Caspar’s story

My 7 year old albino male called Caspar developed lymphoma last year.

The vet said there was nothing to be done as the cancer was in a very difficult place so they couldn’t operate and he thought Caspar wouldn’t last long.

I had just read about seaweed extract being good for slowing down the growth of tumours so I went to the health food shop and bought a bottle.

I got a syringe and fed it to Caspar morning and night and he was alert and happy for a month. But then suddenly he went downhill so I thought it best to take him to the vet to be euthanised.

I don’t honestly know if the seaweed worked but the vet said it wouldn’t hurt Caspar so to give it a go.

I’d like to think I helped him have a few more weeks of quality life until it all got too much for him.

I’m sorry to hear about Caspar but I’m sure what you did helped him to live longer.
