You might think that is a silly name for a ferret but he was like a little bear cub standing on his back legs. We decided to him Fair Bear.
He was never caged he had the run of the house he loved to be held and never bit anyone. I loved him like he was my child. I miss him so much. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of him.
He is buried in our front yard under a nice tree – we can see him from all our front windows.
We love ferrets but do not want to get another one because he was irreplacable. He was special. He was almost human. I am tearing up just writing this.
I love him I miss him and I will never stop thinking about him.
He got sick suddenly and died. We only had him 2 years, 1 month and 18 days. We got him at a pet store when he was a kit. We can not believe he lived such a short time.
Our house was ferret proofed, he got 8 in 1 ferret food, we took such good care of him!!!
We got him Dec 23, 07 and he died in the vet’s office Feb 10, 10.
We love you, Fair Bear. We miss you and we hope you are having fun at the Rainbow Bridge with all your new friends. I hope you do not forget us as one day we will meet again.
