UH OH

My albino ferret has been losing his fur. At first I thought it was due to seasonal shedding, but soon he started losing fur on his back and stomach.

I dont have enough money to take him to the vet and that is what he really needs. I don’t know what he has but I think it is something that needs surgery or an expensive medicine. I feel so bad that I can’t do anything! 🙁

He plays around with his brother just fine (by the way his brother doesn’t have this problem). He is losing some of his appetite though. I have no clue what’s wrong and I just feel so bad ;(

If you have any clue please comment! I need help!

by: Anonymous A simple and not extremely expensive implant will help your fuzzy. My vet charges $100. It can be treated with melatonin pills daily as well. Your vet can explain how much and when.

It’ll give you an idea of what your boy’s problem is.

I appreciate that finances are tough and I know that surgery would cost a whole lot of dollars but maybe you could speak to a sympathetic vet and ask if they could just put a Deslorelin acetate implant into your boy.

You could perhaps ask if you could pay off the bill in installments? I don’t know what will happen to your boy if you just leave him – he might develop an enlarged prostate and find it hard to piddle and that definitely WILL kill him.

Hope you manage to get help for him. Good luck!
